Junior Classical League
The Junior Classical League (JCL) is a thriving new club that consists mainly of the Latin students taught by Mr. Soran. Mr. Soran is also the moderator for JCL. "Every Judge JCL student must complete 3-4 projects over the course of the year: a biographical poster of a real person; bio poster of a mythological person; a toga; and a mosaic. Also, we participate in the National Latin and Mythology Exams every year." Mr. Soran said describing what you do in JCL.
In the spring the JCL club starts their spring activities which include toga car wash and toga bowling. The purpose of this club is to "Compete against other chapters in academic, athletic, and creative arts contests." Mr. Soran said.
To get involved in JCL all you have to do is talk to Mr. Soran or any member of JCL and pay the $20 fee.
