DO YOU PING TO THE PONG?

Danny Bobbe, class of '03, took those chances and ended up creating a Judge Memorial Ping-Pong club with his buddies. Most of the people that started and joined the ping pong club have graduated, and so the club is looking for fresh new ping pong players of all age, skill or gender.

"The ping pong club is a fun little club that lets students of all levels play ping pong," said Ping Pong adviser Mr. Sayre. "We are pretty new and have had only one tournament last year, but we hope to have at least two tournaments this year. We will be getting organized in the beginning of the second quarter. Anyone can join!

"I played Ping-Pong in high school and college extensively," Mr. Sayre added. "Whenever, our wonderful bus driver Werner would help and play, it really made a difference. He definitely had his ping on. I guess it was because he was an accomplished player in Germany. "

"Ping-Pong is a great sport and, it is great exercise. You know all that swinging at the ball with a paddle takes a lot of strength. We have beginners and really, really, really, really good players. Let's not forget that awesome ping pong player Mr. Burchett."
