• B.A. in History and American Studies, California State University, Chico
• M.A. in Coaching and Athletic Administration, Concordia University


Born and raised in Southern California, Chris ventured north for college to run track at California State University, Chico. While there, he double majored in history and American studies and competed in pole vault, javelin and the triple jump. After graduating, Chris moved back home to teach and coach at his alma mater for a dozen years. He also attended Concordia University, Irvine earning a master of arts in coaching and athletic administration.

Chris is a certified nutritionist and certified strength and conditioning coach. In 2022, he moved to Salt Lake City after his fiancé took a job with her dream company. Chris is excited to be a part of Judge’s Social Studies Department and to be involved with the Cross Country and Track and Field teams.

He is currently an active member in the following:

• Historical Society of Utah
• National Society of High School Scholars
• Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society
• National Catholic Coaches Association
• International Association of Athletic Administrators and Coaches
• USA Track and Field

In his free time, Chris is exploring as many of Utah’s lakes and restaurants as he can.
